I can't believe I signed up for ANOTHER journal! There are just so many around...

Anyhow I don't think I'll be using this much, but probably use it to comment and what not. Gosh... on second thoughts, I don't know WHAT I'll use it for!

[ Commerce Graduation Sept 2003 ]

The lucky AC and SC graduated last night (although SC did not actually attend the actual ceremony!) with Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours. Miss KK also graduated with a Masters (of the Universe, according to AC) degree in Commerce. She got to wear the very fashionable mortar board (the hat thing) whereas the undergrad graduands were not so lucky. Ah well, I guess it would kind of mess up your hair anyway...

[ Tai Tai Reunion Dinner ]

Kiara was back in town for graduation, so it was only right that we had a "reunion" dinner of the official members of the tai tai club (oh minus our real life tai tai Pauline)

We had a lovely dinner at Il Ciao's (Applecross), delicious Italian food - I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal especially the dessert! I'm still in some sort of pain due to the wisdom tooth factor, but I'm coping ok - nothing gets in the way of me and food.

The "boys" later came to meet up with us and we went around the corner for coffee at The Cross. Service was absolutely SHOCKING tonight, I think because the manager was probably not in. And you don't leave dirty dishes on the other tables - you clear them up as soon as you can after the customers have left. Idiots. Won't be heading back there too soon...

Its weird. Some days I look at the mirror and feel thin. And pretty (ish).

Other days I feel like I want to vomit at the reflection.

I'm having one of those "other" days.

[ I could have danced all night... ]

I'm experiencing the strangest feeling of happiness and utter contentment. This only comes by once in a blue moon, and sadly doesn't last particularly long. But still... whilst the feeling is there, the smile on my face and the sparkle in my (chinky) eyes cannot be wiped away.

Few short points:
* Nadia, I'm so, so happy and excited for you.
* Yenda, don't stress over mock exams. You'll be fine Just do your very best ... we'll be proud of you no matter what.
* Looking forward to dinner tonight with Sharon, Shian and Leslie.
* Also looking forward to dinner on Tuesday night with the ex-UWA crew. As usual I've been handed the task of organising this "event".
* Less than a week and I'll be back home...
