Want to a free sample of RIVA Coffee? Go to the website and sign up for a free 50g sample.
No, I'm not a sales representative of RIVA, just that I saw the ad for a free sample on the TV today and signed up for my free sample ... hopefully it arrives soon so I can see how it tastes
(sorry, limit one per household and only available to residents of Australia)

Isn't it pretty?
My sisters love jigsaw puzzles, and they completed this particular jigsaw over the last few days (with a little help from my dad and aunt who couldn't resist after seeing my sisters having so much "fun"
)
I've always found it interesting how people compare life to a jigsaw puzzle.
Life is like a puzzle . . .
- each part of your life,
- each experience and occurence in your life,
- each person that you meet,
- each thing that happens to you,
. . . is part of the "picture" of your life.
We spend our lives 'fixing together' the pieces of the puzzle in our life, and only at the end of our lives will we see the completed picture. Some of us have lives like complicated 5000 piece puzzles, whilst others have it simple, like a 50 or 100 piece puzzle
Personally I think I have a 10,000 piece puzzle life

SCHOOL OF ROCK was awesome! Caught it last night with my sisters and my aunty @ Garbo.
Jack Black is one funny dude, and you can tell that much of his personality seeps through into Dewey Finn, his character in this particular movie. I love his expressions, and the amazing way he can manoeurve his eyeballs and eyebrows!
haha...
The music was great in this flick too ... ! And the kids - I'm positive that they are playing the instruments and its not being dubbed over! - are absolutely amazing, especially at such an age! WOW!
Definitely recommend it, especially if you're partial to a bit of ROCK'N'ROLL!!

[ The Last Tai-Tai Meet of 2003 ]
posted @ 03:30 AM by fel

The Tai Tai's: Meins, Fel, Mich + Tams
Last night, the last remaining tai-tai's in Perth had their final meet for the year! *sob sob* Meina is leaving for her European expedition on the weekend, so it was the last time the four of us would be together ... in 2003 that is! ... but at least we know there will be a few more meets to come in 2004!
We went to In Contro in South Perth (situated along the divine South Perth foreshore). It's actually the old Plantation coffeehouse, but newly renovated and with a new name. Surprising what a splash of white (or beige) paint can do to a dingy old building ... looks fantastic now
Had such a wonderful time last night just chit chatting, sipping on our coffees, and before we knew it, the management were kicking us out because they wanted to close shop.
On the way home, I was stopped for a RBT (random breath test) along Canning Highway. Ok, so I haven't had one of those for ... a long time ... and I didn't quite know how to blow. Errr... in or out? so I asked the 'kind' officer, and he said, "In" ... so I breathed in, but actually you're supposed to breathe out, i.e. blow into the machine
Yes, that was quite embarrassing ... and Tams can attest to that as she was sitting in the car next to me, laughing her gut out

What do you do when you are feeling incredibly sad, and your heart aches so much?
... When you feel as though all hope is lost?
... When your supply of tears are exhausted, and there are just no more tears left to be cried?
... When you feel helpless because there is nothing you can do to alleviate the pain, and the sadness?
TELL ME... why is life just so damn unfair?

This is nuts.
I haven't had much time to do much lately. The last week has been havoc in my house, trying to organise everything (i.e. my LIFE!) and clean and throw away junk, pack all the essentials for my trip away ... and in between going to Melbourne for a couple of days! Just got back today (Saturday afternoon), and there is just so much still to do.
Not much time left either ... leaving Perth VERY soon, and my luggage isn't finished being packed, and already I KNOW it's going to be overweight ... ergh ... stress! No sleep tonight ~_~

... calmness has once again ensued, and it's almost come to the point of boredom. ALMOST ... but not quite yet. I'm really enjoying this break, getting away from the hectic and frantic months that have just passed, and just relaxing by doing ... well ... nothing! It's fantastic, I can do whatever I please, whenever I please and no responsibility to anyone right now except myself. Ok, that was an exaggeration... but you get my drift
And I've also decided that it's now time to lose those extra kg's that I've packed on over the last few stressful months. It's really bad, even my mom tells me that I've seriously put on A LOT of weight, and it's going to be a problem if I don't do something about it. I guess she's right ... and so I've started my exercise regime today (did 3km on the treadmill a little earlier). Also, I'm trying to cut down the about of JUNK (hopefully, to nil) ... but slowly lah
So is it goodbye to the old sluggish fatty Felicia, and hello to a new toned, slimmer Felicia? ... errrr ... well, only time (and my discipline) will tell!

No no no ... nothing is wrong, I'm fine, no real reason for not updating except perhaps there really isn't much to write about and also, I'm curbing my internet addiction and spending much much much less time online. C'mon give me a pat on the back ......
I'm going into JB later tonight. I really really really don't want to go ... apart from the fact that JB is really dangerous these days (a lot of violent robberies and what not), I don't particularly feel like travelling a few hours, half by bus and the other half by car and a little in between elbowing my way through Singapore-Malaysia Customs. I can already foresee it ... seas and masses of people, lots of pushing and shoving, trickling through the sweltering heat, all trying to get through as fast as possible ... nope, not looking forward to it one teensy weensy bit.
And to top it all, I don't think my grandmother likes me very much. Something to do with the fact that I'm a grandDAUGHTER and not a grandSON.
Ah well, it's going to be an interesting trip. Hope and pray that I'll make it back in one piece, eh?
Merry Christmas everyone... !

I need a haircut. The split ends are really beginning to bug the shit out of me and straight hair is so boring.
But it took sooooo long to grow ... and that's almost too good of a reason to chop it all off.
BLEH.
Leslie says that I should keep it long for now cos I'll have plenty of chance to have short hair ... when I'm thirty (plus), married and have swarms of kids ~_~
