[ Rollerblading ]
posted @ 03:47 AM by fel
Unbelievable as this may sound, I tried rollerblading for the first time on Sunday afternoon. It was an overcast day, but the Singapore humidity still made sure we were all sweltering (and melting) away down at East Coast Park. I haven't been done there for a LONG time (I stayed close by the area for the first six months I was in Singapore), and I had forgotten how packed that place is on weekends.
Anyway, back to the rollerblading experience - it was pretty fun! Granted I fell down very ungraciously at my first attempt of standing up, and I almost squeezed all circulation out of the blade hire lady's hand, by the end of the 2 and 1/2 hours there, I was able to blade down the pathway all by myself..
Very proud of myself although I still have a long way to go! My butt is still quite sore from the many times I fell down (lean forward, not back!) .. I wonder if I can get a bum guard?
So yes anyway I've decided to try it again next weekend. Who knows, maybe it can be a weekly thing!

Dying (yes, my "drama-mama" side is coming out). I wish to cut off my head (including throat), feeling like absolute crap .. at times like these, I miss having someone look after me
Currently feeling: sick

[ Still sick (and self-pitying) ]

I hate looking at myself in the mirror when I'm sick. I especially hate that my nose turns brighter red than Rudolph's due to all the nose-blowing. There's this dull pain in the space behind my eyes. Feeling a bit dizzy. Back to bed it is...
