[ A slice of Bali heaven ]

Back from Bali, a quick weekend getaway with the girls N and S, and we met up with the boys J and D there. J organized a fantastic villa (Villas des Indes @ Laksmana Villas), just perfect for the 5 of us. Lots of eating and drinking (Mozaic @ Ubud - amazing!, Ku de ta - but of course, sunset at La Lucciola, Jimbaran Bay seafood dinner by the beach), indulging, lazing, spa-ing (Bodyworks, highly recommended), and of course, partying (Hu'u, F Lounge, Double 6, Bacio). A very short trip, definitely did not want to come home to reality, but sadly am back... will certainly be day-dreaming of paradise we experienced over the past few days...

[ Photo Flashback: ZoukOut 2006 ]

Oh what a night! A hot Saturday December (the 9th to be exact) night, down at Siloso Beach, the last ZoukOut for me (for a while at least), expectation levels were high and I must say, the night did go down spectacularly. Music was unbelievably awesome - DJ Jazzy Jeff an absolute highlight, a feast for the eyes with gorgeous bikini clad babes (although the other team were a bit of a let down, must say there was a lack of good looking straight men!), lots of little delish food stalls and other activities to keep us busy (massages, fortune telling, tattoos - temporary of course) ... and plenty of moving and grooving, but of course! Reluctantly went home at 5am, but big smile on the faces confirmed - a truly great night out.

[ A trip to old Batavia ]

Another weekend escape, this time back to my "favourite" city - Jakarta. I have a strong feeling it will be my last for a while, unless I am naughty and fly there again in a fortnight but I am planning to spend my last month (February) in Singapore with the first two weeks in Singapore, and third back home, before flying off to the States in the fourth! Time will fly, I still can't believe I'm leaving...
Anyhow, it was one of the nicest weekends I've had. Not that it was planned that way, spending much time with friends - dinner, clubbing (Public, Embassy - worth checking out!) - but also a lot exploring and walking - wandering aimlessly about Chinatown and Sunda Kelapa, getting lost but seeing so much.
Next on the agenda; KL weekend with the girls!
